those josh flitter scenes were from "license to wed" and trailers hardly ever show parts from their prequels.
Nevertheless, the idea of an Ace Ventura movie without Jim Carrey is.. sad.

Duh, the trailer is fake. I keep saying that, but no one is listening. I just hate the fact that they would make an Ace Ventura 3 without Jim Carrey. The trailer is fake, but the movie is real. Look it up on Google.

Well the first Dumb and Dumber is a hit. While when the sequel came out, that movie became a huge flop in box office.
