Had a lot of questions from the "Get On" Video regarding camera angles, so here's the answer...

For how I mount it to my helmet, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5-KleR7NwA

  • For the RAM mount, you could adhere one of the GoPro flat sticky mounts to one of the RAM flat surface ball mounts. Have you ever had any problems with the suction cup?

  • Sweet vids. RAM now makes GoPro mounts... go to their website and search for GoPro

  • Nice Bike bro

  • Great information, I think I'm just about sold on buying one of these!

  • Dude, you should seriously think of mounting the mount as close to the bottom of your triple trees and flip the GoPro HD and change the settings in the firmware, it will be slightly more stable and less rolling shutter.

  • you see the new tiger 800 xc. its badass

  • I'm using my iPhone to comment so the last one was cut.

I was saying : for helmet mounting options, I think the contourhd still wins.

    Thanks for a great tutorial.

  • Nice video ! I just bought a go pro hd myself and was testing it yesterday. You've got pretty cool ideas for placement but it made me realize that the motorsports package is not enough to get all those angles. I think I'll soon order some new parts.

About the chin mount, I like the idea but I'm doubtful as to the invasion of your field of view. Does it not bother you ? I've mounted mine on top of the helmet for the moment which is a problem because you can't see the bike. For helmet placement,

  • I would really like a super long arm. Almost like it's in orbit around me. Can't wait to see what GoPro is going to do. I just saw that 3D mount a couple weeks ago. New stuff like that gets me excited.

  • I like the wide variety of Go Pro mounting options. The one thing that does bug me is they use a somewhat brittle plastic. Out of my original Go pro Hero motoSport kit I've broken 3 of the mounting clips. I tend to be gently with my toys so it wasn't from abuse.

    Great vid... :D
