Hi. Red pepper, green pepper or yellow pepper, it doesn't matter in terms of taste. But, as Alia unconciously suggest tomatoes. I see It is the colour of the dish that matter.

It's the natural juices of the red peppers after I grated them.

ooo good question! I am not really sure. I always red pepper in this dish, but you can certainly replace them with tomatoes, it would taste good. not really sure about the green pepper. let me know if you try it :-)

Lovely recipe Allia, nice and simple they way I need them to be. I have a bunch of Moroccan family coming for dinner tomorrow night and they hinted at seafood... I think you saved my life. ;)

let me know how it came out! there is another dish "baked fish with charmoula" (check my other videos) that is absolutely amazing and it is a staple of moroccan cuisine. you should try it sometime :-)
