Television and radio personality Glenn Beck claims his rally on the Mall in Washington is not politically driven. But critics say Tea Party activist Sarah Palin's scheduled speech indicates otherwise. Wyatt Andrews reports.

  • @TLydon007 Those are ignorant comments by very ignorant people. I have never met a racist mormon

  • @ralburto84 Beck is in favor of jobs and a bigger middle class. I am conservative and was employing 15 people until Obama came into office. Restrictions R on Real Estate. The liberals R the ones who messed with that my adding the regulations that people of a certain income should be able to buy homes. Hltcare. is better when we buy it ourselves. It was not so un-affordable until insurance companies got involved. If helthcr were affordable , it is best that we do the hiring.

  • take back our country? reclaim the civil rights movement? wtf are these people talking about? so what exactly are you trying to get back? i want back jobs and a bigger middle class i want restrictions on wall street and realstate. some basic form of healthcare. beck stop talking become a preacher of god not politics because your vary persuasive and will get followers. you're ruining our country by your rhetoric please do something else... have your followers drink some koolaid

  • What I can't understand is why anyone even acknowledges this Al Sharpton loser. I mean the guy is a loser and the absolute bottom of the social barrell. I would much rather listen to a dog bark than this nothing that wants to be a something.

  • @sireenn lol yeah its really racist. im just saying, being raised in a christian home, just because the religion teaches it doesnt mean the followers follow it. my family only prayed before meals on special occasions with family(to look good pretty much), we barely ever went to church or tithed, but we were still christian.

  • @wtd15 Isn't the basis of Mormon belief that black skin came about because of sin or something?

    I mean, that's racist in itself. :/

  • @wtd15

" I want proof that every single mormon is a racist. "

    That is a tall order....

I'm gonna have to side with you.

I would never consider James Faust a racist as he was a fierce proponent of Civil Rights and Social Justice.. Pretty much everything Glenn Beck and Cleon Skousen have despised.

  • @TLydon007 That's not what I'm asking for. I want proof that every single mormon is a racist. You people are just giving me mormon leaders, but that doesn't say anything about the followers. Followers don't always do or believe everything a leader commands you know.

"Cain slew his brother. Cain might have been killed, and that would have put a termination to that line of human beings.

This was not to be, and the Lord put a mark upon him, which is the flat nose and black skin. Trace mankind down to after the flood, and then another curse is pronounced upon the same race--that they should be the "servant of servants;" and they will be, until that curse is removed."

~Brigham Young, President and second 'Prophet' of the Mormon Church, 1844-1877
