some of the extras run out of the theater three times,,budget constraints,,,and what was that one black girl doing in the theater,,,shouldnt she have attended on negro night,,,,this was the fifties

That is true but just the thought of an evil wad of "jelly and gum" eating you would suck and it scares people to death :O.
More seriously it was a great film and a classic that will live on forever.

you never even see the blob do anything in this film! they made it with jelly and gum. and you dont see it eat anyone,
