What scale is it? looks like its about 1/48th scale.

The Madurodam web site says the city models are 1:25 scale. I don't know if this also applies to the plane models.

There is also a similar airport model in this place in israel called MiniIsrael (i think thats how its called) of Ben Gurion International Airport.
