Same thing happened to me. Got the notice, and ended up having to pay $845 for missing my court date and failing to pay fines when due. Tell me how I ended up paying 3000% of what the ticket originally cost? No clue. Plus, they charge us $375 for missing a court date? For the judge to call your name and when you don't answer, hand your paperwork to someone? Hell, if I got paid that much to do something like that I'd be rich. The government in California is trying to make up for its deficit.

Hey Buddy! You deserved the ticket. Your just mad because you got caught. And they messed up your paperwork. If you werent talking. You would not be posting your sob story on you tube. Saying its not dangerious talking on the phone is safe is a judgement you are making for the masses. It is a well known fact. Two hands on the steering wheel at all times is much safer. Especially if you have to make a split second decision to avoid an accident in front of you. Get bluetooth installed. Its cheaper
