Lest we become distracted by the circus-like coverage of the presidential campaigns, the following should be a reminder that the Bush Administration has more than 11 months to further accomplish their missions:
President Bush has declared he has the right to bypass a new law that prohibits the use of taxpayer money to establish permanent U.S. military bases in and control the oil resources of Iraq.
Watch your independent news sources for more on the proposed Iraq treaty agreement which would bypass congress and create a military commitment for the new administration into the foreseeable future.
Watch also for the drama of pressure tactics and the eventual signing of the Iraq Oil Law which will secure Iraqi oil as our "strategic national interest" for the next 30 years.
I always have said this: Bush is the worst burb this country ever had.

Great topic. Over a million lives lost for war waged simply for the sake of Iraq's oil. How tragic. Were we really made in God's image? Halliburton is sure profiting from this war, at public's expense.
