I almost spilled my coffee when I heard "...they're part of the longest running SciFi show in the world stay tuned for Matt Smith and Karen Gillan of BBC's DR Who" I called 13 WHAM and thanked them about 4 times. I always watch 13 WHAM News !

I'm coming from this at a different angle, so bear with me, but I don't see why everyone's fussing. Yeah, she made a passing comment about their hair and how it wasn't combed or something silly of that nature. It could be taken the wrong way. But this is from a year ago and I doubt Matt or Karen even remember getting snubbed on their hair by some random newscaster in the States. To all of you throwing tantrums over it: calm down. Wow. I'm blown away by that. When I read the title, I was waiting for the male anchor that was doing the interview to say something offensive. I can't imagine what went through her head to make her think that blatantly mocking the guests would be a good plan. I wonder if she still works for that show.
