Exile on Main Street is a great f*ckin album - my favourite from The Stones. Sweet Virginia is beautiful, moving, haunting, and life-giving, man. Let's all sit around a fire, drink some rum, smoke some good, gentle weed, and have a sing-along. Yeah, man. My idea of paradise. See ya'll there.

@xxzeon Positives being, whatever you're into, there's some group somewhere waiting to accomodate you. The not-so-positives, possibly, being that our numbers are so large that our passions and struggles and desires can get blurred. But I know one thing: the love of music - and love altogther - is real. So let's keep that and move forward. Coz you never know. Here's to ya!

@xxzeon Thanks for replying. I get you, and I agree. I was born in the 1980s. Quite young for a lover of this music. But, of course, it's timeless - you hear it and you just know. The 'paradise' thing can indeed be repeated. Sometimes it's clouded & unclear - perhaps due to large numbers of people now? - but it's there alright. An old friend and I, a few years ago, named our current era the era of 'anything goes' It's self-explanatory. And it has its positives as well as not-so-positives

What great memories/////Being 54 yrs old now...I say in retrospect that i feel lucky to have grown up over the years that I did. The Stones were a major contributor to the Soundtrack of MY life!!!! the nice thing re:"paradise" as you term it above is that it wasn't a "one-off" king of thing....it was to be repeated as often as you like!!! so were the SEVENTIES!!!!
