  • where did it happen?is it in london?looks like kings head in angel area london...really cool

  • It is at Aint Nothin' But

    in Kingly Street

    W1

  • Uh, oh. Just wait 'til Kim Wilson finds out his shtick was directly lifted.

    He's gonna be mad!!

  • Really mad !!

What about all those Kim Wilson covers of Little Walter tunes, lucky Walter isnt around to get mad!!

  • Besides needing a little restraint and too much repetition - a good LW and KW cross - the more I hear him, the more restraint he can use - more is sometimes just that - more...

  • Maybe in a recording environment, however this was a live gig in an intimate club and not intended to be put under a microscope.

The audience certainly weren't complaining !!

  • I'm a fan! New to me, but that's my Yank ignorance. Hope to see more.

  • Great playing with a real get down feeling. Steve's the real deal, and he's not "imitating" anybody. Enough from you armchair critics. Tha idea is to go out and play music for people, and these people are loving it.

  • @zombeatle01 wow, you're going way back now. That was a great band, I wouldnt mind listening to that CD. BTW, bass player was Tony Cranney.

  • nice work lots of west coast influence

  • nice work lots of west coast influence

  • Who gives a fuck who he sounds like as long as he sounds good. You can,t always get to see Kim and Rod if you are in Britain so here is a fantastic alternative. When the words best British harp player are bandied round Mark Felthams name should be mentioned along with the great Paul Lamb.I would love to see Weston come to Liverpool. He would be well appreciated in our musical city.

  • Hell yeah!

  • The whole jump genre is re done. I wouldn't worry much about who he's borrowing from.

When it comes down to it though, being able to deliver the goods is hard enough. One in a million can create this much musical fun.

  • Wow! This is the first time I'm hearing him...he's awesome.

  • GREAT sound! and a great band behind him. Best British player I've heard yet.

  • Flat out AWESOME!!! 5 stars, totally well deserved! That's a man who knows how to entertain and earn his wages!!

  • Sounds Great, and the audience was dancing their butts off, so you know they were loving it!!! That's what counts!!!
