There are 25,000 Jews living in Iran. When Israel backed a plan to pay Iranian Jewish families $60,000 to settle in Israel, Society of Iranian Jews met the announcement with scorn, issuing this statement: "The identity of Iranian Jews is not tradable for any amount of money. Iranian Jews are among the most ancient Iranians. Iran's Jews love their Iranian identity and their culture, so threats and this immature political enticement will not achieve their aim of wiping out the identity of Iranian Jews."

I am from Iran too and I am not Catholic, so I belong to a minority as well. All I can say is, that I am just as Iranian as muslims, jews or anyone else there. In fact I am very proud of our jewish people living in Iran and really glad when I heard they did not leave Iran when they got offered to by Israel. We are really proud of our Jewish communities and I've seen loads of pictures of the beautiful Synagogues in Tehran. They are an enrichment to the culture.

Through out the Ismlic rule in history, Jews had always been protected and given freedom to their religion; untill Talibanism came into being which was an American fuelled organisation. Likewise are the Wahibs which were supported by British to control Saudi Arabia. Both creations became headach for the Western world.

Muslims has nothing against Jews or Christians or any other religion. Pity that Islam is hard to find in contemporary era.

I am half Iranian - my father's friend/our family dentist is a Jewish Iranian, we do not see him as anything different than Persian. Remember Cyrus was a friend of Jews and chosen by God in the Torah to deliver the Jews from Babylon. Don't believe the Hype!

Oh and Ahmadinejad is a tool used by the Mullahs to stir up the West.

I believe my Jewish compatriots are as Iranian as any other one of us including atheists like myself. However, festival of Purim is a celebration of GENICIDE of BIBLICAL proportion of PERSIANS in the hands of Mordecai, a Jewish leader (Book of Esther). I think all Americans need to see this. So many believe that Iran is seeking violence against Israel. I think just the opposite is true. This video shows how well the two religions can get along.
