@2smallbowls "You can either criticize him for what he's lost, or admire him for what he's had the great courage to regain"
Definitely the last: I'm glad one of the greatest guitarists of all time is on the stage again after a very difficult 'interlude'. I hope he'll find what he's looking for!

There's a certain emptiness, slowness (lack of energy), and lack of passion in his eyes and his playing. Words that could never accurately be used to describe Peter Green in his prime.
-
He's still great — much better than most guitarists out there — but if you don't realize the significant difference between Peter in the late 60s and Peter here, you simply haven't cultivated an appreciation for the subtlety or emotional expression that was once of the Man of the World. Peter Green is my absolute favourite guitarist, and even he can't match himself. Despite remaining alive, the legend was lost one day in the mid 70s.

you guys need to lay off peter, i dont see or hear any of your 65 year old asses doing half as good as job as he is in this performance, hes doing everything as he always did, his note placement and phrasing is still genius and if you disagree I suggest you get up there and create your own legacy, i find his singing incredibly soulful as well, and that's what the blues is about

the mans playing is like silk, beautiful...

Peter just wasn't that concerned about being the main guy. He did what he did as a young man because he had nerve and silly talent. London was a buzzing place and ripe for picking. Now, he doesn't give a shit about anything other than what pleases him. A glorious place to be.

I Never really understand WHY When somebody is a genius and a sensitive person they seem to get shitted on When there at there peak-- But Then when they become a living casualty or an actuall casualty they get alittle bit more compassion when it's alittle to late---Sad really that greatness doesnt sit well with alot of people untill they try and strip you of it--- But hats off peter Your still great my brother And Your strengh to keep pushing foward nobody could ever take that away from you

There is only one Peter Green when it comes to the blues
-
is this the same peter green as fleetwood mac god its like a shocking tribute band
Every year, a little more of Peter's skill returns to the stage, and it's heart-warming to watch his recovery, and the new low-key, non-superstar joy he brings to his playing. You can either criticize him for what he's lost, or admire him for what he's had the great courage to regain, in public no less.

@zsxd55 clearly you understand nothing about the blues, and even less about the magnificent ability this gentleman possesses. Now scuttle back into you little box and allow us to enjoy this beautiful talent.
