@Jizzem66 ALL MP series engines are volvo engines re-badged and have different power curves and painted red. you CANNOT get any other engine in a MACK in North America, trust me on this.

@HBMAN665420 I said that due to the fact that MACK is a WHOLLY owned subsidiary of VOLVOAB.They even moved the HQ to Greensboro with the main US HQ. So in MY opinion they are now foreign crap.Don't be surprised when they come with ONLY Volvo power like Volvo now.
In reality there are only 3 US heavy hwy. truck builders left...Peterbilt,Kenorth (PACCAR) & International (Navistar)

Volvo has a 700HP version of the D16 (mp10) in europe. More to follow on higher HP levels in the USA. Stay Tuned.

MP engines are VOLVO designed engines. They are exactly the same engine as the volvo D11, D13, and D16. The only difference is they are painted RED instead of GREEN and their ECU's are programmed differently for the mack brand to deliver a different fuel curve. You wont see any other engine in a Mack other than the MP series after the year 2009. You CANNOT get any other engine in a Mack other than the MP series, Garunteed. Only in a VOLVO can you get a optional Cummins, Volvo controls that.

Beep....... ur wrong. the mp's yeah there not volvos, there macks designed by volvo. and you can get other engines in macks. ive seen a serries60 detroit v8 in a mack. thats not a mack mottor. sounds like your a volvo fan.
