I had stayed up till 3am watching Roger Federer Beat Andy Roddick, the next day I felt something wonderful might happen from all that imput from the "Great One Himself" so I brought my Video camera to the court. I came to the net and my friend hit what he thought was a winning lob, I really didn't think I could get it until I changed my grip to a frying pan hold and at the last minute flicked it over my shoulder for a high lob, then he hit what he thought was a winnning overhead and I hit a slice winner crosscourt. I've been playing tennis for over 30yrs and these 2 shots were one of my best ever!

  • Its strange that we can't see the other player or see where the ball lands.

  • Thanks that's a great compliment, that means you think its a great shot, and probably not real, because its quite remarkable, it is for real though, I was just filming myself as I have on many occasions, I was playing a regular opponent who is very consistent and tough, I felt so blessed to have caught this shot on film. If your a player at all you will recognize this is a real point and not staged in anyway. The tempo of the shots and the natural reaction. Anyway thanks for the compliment.

  • i hit those in my sleep....

  • @japanesefastfoodruls It's one of those shots that usually you can only hit in your sleep.

  • i think you found a way to get people to watch the clip by hyping it up in the title. although it was a decent shot, it was pretty much unremarkable when compared to daily highlights from almost every pro tennis tourney. i'm not trying to be mean, just think you may be overblowing how good it was.

  • @kuvdog10

I see what you mean, but if you study the clip and see how far the ball was in front of me, and the fact I had to hit the ball with a frying pan grip and whip it back over my head and keep it in without running into the fence, check out how close I am to hitting the fence on contact and just after, I had zero room for error, the to win the point from such a disadvantaged position is quite remarkable. Please direct me to a clip that is as good or better and we will discuss it. Thanks

One thing is for sure... those shots landed in... ^_^ His technique is too good for them to miss.

  • @johnrushing You're joking, right? I mean, it was a great get and then a sweet (lucky) slice winner. I hit better shots than this in each match I play man, come on! I'm sure you've hit better shots (because you look like a good player), you just probably thought this get was one of your best (but definitely not your best ever shot). Great get, best shot ever, HELL NO! Like the others, I don't mean to be mean either, just truthful.

  • Jose.. that shot was not unbelievable.

  • Nice shot Jose, although it was just a survival shot.

  • Good shot Try and do that when you try!
