Shoes- MBT's, I found em at "The Walking Store" at the mall. Waay better than the flat metal insole the ortho Rx'd, also way expensive... but I haven't had a stress fracture in my feet yet(been a yr). I think the "stress fractures" as were finally diagnosed by bonescan were actually the small bones in my foot dislocating moving where they shouldn't, and my bad hip from re-learning how to walk cause they said the foot wasn't broke. How do you get all those braces on? Do you get help?

Hey I have those braces I also have a few others I like, I wear the silver rings splints which one is that? do your center knuckles hyper extend alot that is where my kids bend real bad. ahh that brace looks like a lot of work LOL. My 12yr old daughter was born without a hip socket congenital hip dysplasia other daughter had hip dysplasia but only unstable my. Now at 12yrs old her hip is still in hip dysplasia not sure what they will do now she was braced at birth till 15 mo's

Hiya, you might want to try Brooks Addiction shoes. They prevent pronation and don't have that extremely painful arch that "normal" shoes have. They help me with stability a whooole lot. :)

Well, I hope my note helped! yes, my center knuckle is the one that subluxes mostly. I'm looking into some different and of course more expensive silver ring splints. Those I got free from the OT place I was going to. I lost a couple, I don't know how. So sorry about your daughter's hip. That must be so painful! Take care!!!!
P.S. Are you interested in the hip brace that I did on my video, although complicated. It does really help.
