New computer specs Athlon II X2 250 4gb RAM and HD 4350 1gb

I got a new computer back in march for $300. Mute the video my brothers were playin halo 3 on xbox 360 whilst i made the video.


My old Specs are:

Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit (till i get the same just win 7)

AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.01ghz (2MB L2 cache. HT 1000MHZ)

1x500gb SATA Hard Drive (main with windows)

1x160gb SATA Hard Drive (used to be main, now is for games in mix with the main)

1x500gb IDE (for movies and file storage. pulled it from my old pc.)

4gb DDR2 PC-6400 667mhz (more memory but downgraded from 800mhz with the 2gb that came with it).

Force 3D Radeon HD 4350 1gb DDR2 (HDMI past 1080p, DVI, VGA)

DVD-RW drive

Nvidia Nforce 430/6150SE chipset

Thermaltake Purepower 430 430W PSU

(Mainboard) MSI K9N6PGM2-V2

Logitech X-240 Speaker set (from my old pc. nice sound system for it's price).

a few other things as well, including a nice 120mm exhaust fan with LEDs.

This machine I will show more of but it's a nice machine regardless for the price I paid for it in total.

My new pc specs:

(the old specs with some changes with the CPU, OS, a new 1tb HDD, and the GPU and a new gpu cooler and a side fan)

4350 replaced with the XFX Radeon HD 5670 1gb 128-bit GDDR5 (GPU:775mhz/MEM:1000mhz)

WIndows Vista Ultimate x64 replaced with Windows 7 Home Premium x64

PCI slot cooler replaced with a vantec spectrum pci slot cooler

added a side blue LED fan 120mm intake. need to replace the back 120mm exhaust (it's dying on me slowly).

@Markcy1989 i had it in 2009. got 7 not long ago. and i don't have a lot of money at times. got 7 as a bday gift. my lil bro has xp still. so it's not that big a deal to have vista if that's all you have money for lol.

@Iwillgiveyouctime we almost have the same specs but my windows index score is a little bit higher than yours my lowest index score is 4.7 which is the aero thing in windows.. processor 6.7 ram 5.9 (4gb @ 3.5gb because of my IGPU shared memory ati 4250) graphics 4.7 gaming graphics 5.6 storage 5.9 athlon ii x2 250 3.0ghz @ 3.6ghz kingston ddr3 1333 4gb mobo msi 880gm-E43 seagate barracuda 500gb 7200rpm cooler... deepcool beta 200st....... this is a HTPC budget build

@wispyok06 oh that's odd, i have 7. ummm what GPU do you have and what's your lowest rating on windows experience index? and the rating you get is based on the component with the lowest experience index rating. aka if all other components are 7.0, and one is 6.2, your index rating will be 6.2 regardless. it won't average out. and same here, with occasional hardcore gaming.

@wispyok06 hmmm. i have a 6.5 on my CPU with windows 7 now and a 7.0 gaming graphics with a xfx 5670 1gb gddr5 now. i have to make a new video. ummm lemme check the specs on that CPU. i'll see what i can do. but what number are you looking to achieve? i have a dual core at 3.0ghz and i got a 6.5. what OS do you have?

i have intel dual core e2200 stock 2.2ghz overclock to 2.7ghz..still my windows performance rating is at 6.2!!
