I've been working on this for a bit now and haven't been able to find out what's wrong. I get:
"initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections..."
Do I need to have the battery connected to the surfboard when it's trying to write to the chip?
Do the red line on the ribbon go to the side of the connection with the +Vcc?
I've tried all variations and I'm getting the same response. I'm starting to think the chip might be blown, I'd appreciate any advice you could offer. Thank you.
