Hey for a bunch of youngsters. the band doesnt sound terrible,and its not the best. but give them a break. im pretty sure when you all started, you sounded like that.

If you listen to them the tunings way out but if someone fixed the chanters "cough cough" they would sound great :P

I could answer both your queries and I dont claim to be pipe major. A) the drones are off as they are checking the chanters so they can tune the out of tune chanters if necessary.
B) i agree with you, they were bad, but maybe have a look at the size of them. its obviously a learnin or juvenila band, so of course theyre not gonna be perfect yet. when they are, theyll be sent to a better band. To me, as a piper, you sound full of crap. I'd hate for you to be MY pipe major
