Samsung NC10 Review

I just received my Samsung NC10 from Newegg.com yesterday and wanted to post a quick video giving my thoughts. This is my first video post, and it was tough for me to do. I'm not a very outgoing person; writing is where I perform best. But I wanted to give video blogging a shot.

Perosnally, it would had been nice to see the NC10 close up & personal. I found that your camera covered you more than the actual unit in question. Your overall description was fine, but more focus on the unit would had been alot nicer to seeing what the consumer might be getting in reality to the real thing.

Understandable. Problem is I was using my wife's Canon 5D Mark II on a tripod, and I didn't want to put in the effort or time to go all out like that. Sorry that my video is not up to your standards. I'm sure you can find others...

Hello KyleKlink,

does the chrome on the sides of the hinge holding up the screen reflect much sunlight? Also, how good is the battery life? I have read it should last for almost 5h with 100% brightness and 6.5h with 50%, is that correct? I am trying to decide wether I should go with the Asus EEE 1000 HE or Samsung NC10. I am mainly going to use the netbook for viewing videos when traveling, I might connect my USB DAC to it as well to get better sound. Is Samsungs battery life enough?

The battery life on the Samsung is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend the NC10.

I don't notice any sun glare off the chrome, and the screen is plenty bright enough for outdoor use.

Nice video, dude! I'm from GER and I'm gonna purchase this nice netbook today for my needs at the university. Sitting in front of a 22" widescreen makes it kind of scary to use a 10" mini-solution most of the day but it's better than have tons of papers, books and so on so I'm really looking forward to integrate this little machine in my student-life

@OakridgeProductions9 sure intel makes the mac daddy top most crazy trip tastic processor, but when it comes down to price, which in the falling economy is what its all about, FOR THE MONEY, you get more performance per dollar with AMD than with intel, but AMD doesn't make a mac daddy processor, not yet at least.
