Uwe Krueger of Behr America talks technology with Automotive Engineering International

Behr America is focusing its SAE 2011 World Congress display around three major innovation areas: passenger comfort, battery thermal management, and combustion-engine technology. "Of course, we still believe in the combustion engine," declared Dr. Uwe Krueger, Vice President of Engineering for Behr in North America. "We believe in downsizing of the engine." Krueger spoke with AEI about some of these trends on the first day of the April 12-14 show.
