Ten Thousand Miles

Wow. I did this in only a day - and I really like it!! Actually, it was quite upsetting to make (I think it was the music that got to me), but oh well, I enjoyed it anyway. The greyish, glowing bits are all memories.

Shuyin/Lenne
Ashe/Balthier... and they all have their own little story within the vid. Some have happy endings, some have sad, but I'll give a little outline of each just cos I feel like it. You don't have to read them, but it might help you understand the vid...
Cloud/Aeris: basically the same as in the game but with a twist. Aeris dies and Cloud can't stop thinking about her. Eventually, however, the pain becomes too much for him, and Aeris reaches out and takes him to heaven with her (i.e. he dies...)
Squall/Rinoa: Rinoa, exhausted and near death, is looking for Squall, and finds him dead on the battlefield. She remembers the promise he made to always look after her, and she cries. Suddenly, she finds herself in a field of flowers. She realizes that she has died and gone to heaven, but she is happy because she is with Squall.
Garnet/Zidane: Zidane left Garnet to go and be a hero, and she is left behind, struggling with her queenly duties whilst heartbroken with loss. Eventually however she sees something in the courtyard; it is Zidane returned to her, and they embrace, together again.
Yuna/Tidus: Yuna and Tidus are lovers, but they are separated in a earthquake/tidal wave. Yuna wakes in a field of flowers that she doesn't recognise. She tries to move on, not knowing what happened to Tidus, but she cannot forget him. One day, he appears, glowing in front of her. She runs to hug him, but realises that it is merely his ghost come to say goodbye; that he died in the earthquake. They hug, but then he has to return, and he leaves her alone.
Shuyin/Lenne: Basically the same as the game. Lenne, dying on the floor, remembers how Shuyin tried to save her by using Vegnagun and she tried to stop him, yet the soldiers came and shot them both down. She tries to tell him how she feels, but before she can, she dies.
Balthier/Ashe: Balthier is inside Bahamut. He thinks that Ashe is dead; he remembers holding her as she dies. With nothing left to lose, he tries to sacrifice himself to save the city from Bahamut. However, unknown to him, Ashe survived, and is outside Bahamut, calling desperately for him to get out, but the Bahamut crashes before he can. Some years later, Ashe cannot forget Balthier. But then she receives a letter... it is from him. She realises that he is alive, and she smiles, looking out into the sky.

And yeah, I know there are a lot of heaven-references, but I'm not religious. I was just in a spiritual-they-all-die kinda mood when I did this; just thought I'd better clear that up. Enjoy!!!
