Regardless of where or how you live - the Afghan values, traditions, history, sense of patriotism and respect for honourable figures that have made Afghanistan and given you an identity - always live within your heart and mind. But nonetheless, it is sad to say, there is no apparent clue of that feeling left in you.

You're not the only Afghan who has left your country and become a refugee in a foreign country. There are millions like you who have been through the same plight in life. But what is most astonishing about your story is the way how you have lost that connection with your country. How could possibly say you do not belong to that culture even if you have lived almost all your life in the UK? Afghan culture lives not only in Afghanistan or in Kabul, but it lives within each and every Afghan.
