Genki Sudo Machine Civilization tribute

I was inspired by Genki Sudo's Machine Civilization when I first saw it on April 23 2011 and wanted to spread the message "WE ARE ALL ONE" too, especially in view of the recent misfortune that happened in Japan. The cinematography, choreography and synchronization is just simply amazing. Hence, I decided to do a tribute kinda video.

Despite having very hectic schedules, my friends willingly helped out. Our version is just an honest interpretation as students who aren't dancers or filmmakers. The dancing scenes were shot on April 25 2011 without any prior practice because I wanted the footage to be raw, nothing fanciful or mind-blowing. We met, we analyzed and we danced. Simple as that. A no frills, no crew, no budget video.

As for the rest of the footage, it involved strangers moving along with the beat of Machine Civilization. The idea was to feature people from different nationalities, "cheering" on for Japan too, like how "WE ARE ALL ONE". I wanted the "cheering" to be light-hearted, definitely not intended as a joke, to show what sets humans and a Machine Civilization apart.

My mistake for filming the video with a NikonD90 and with fluorescent lighting.
