bipod failed in tests after war
-
@germanairsoft12 Not in real life its not. Its a rifle round in a small weapon - after the first shot you will miss anything further than 20 yards away
-
@tommy1138 eh not really do a 3 or 4 round burst its pretty accurate:]
-
@Maschinengewehr1942 esatto, era nella dotazione dei paracadutisti, e mi pare che il suo battesino di fuoco lo ebbe con la campagna di Greca.

@tommy1138 It appears for a minute or so in the eagle has landed but it isnt fired.
-
@tommy1138 true but it can be controlled when firing with the bipod deployed or short bursts
-
It wouldn't be the first thing the Russians copied from the Germans.

putin sa lui dirait de tirer en rafale

@marodeur64 Most likely a Repro. there arent many of them left..neither is there many produced.

@tommy1138 the reason is that. mauser kar 98k uses 7.92mmx57j round. StG44 uses 7.92mmx33 kurtz. FG-42 uses 7.92mmx57j round (same as kar) and thats why it have bad recoil but it is much more powerful than Stg44.
You never see the FG-42 in World War 2 movies. That's too bad because it's a beautiful weapon in design and function. Way ahead of its time. I hear the recoil is bad though and firing in full-auto is highly inaccurate.

Lol. The bajonet fell out at the end.
Is that a repro?
