He hasn't jumped the gun, that's for sure.Having spent several rudderless years following the release of his debut album Welcome To The Best Years Of Your Life, the re-energised producer, singer and DJ eased himself back in to the breach earlier this year with the single Falling and follow-up Something For The Weekend. Now, finally, the long awaited There's More To Life Than This album is upon us.Recorded in Berlin, New York, London, Bristol, Munich, Stockholm and Stuttgart with producers Motor City Drum Ensemble, Redlight, Georg Levin, Chocolate Puma, Midland, Soul Clap and Henrik Schwarz, the album marries Ben's songwriting and soul/jazz instincts with a house edge provided by some of the scene's leading producers and the result is a harmonious, elegant and above all, individual set.

  • Great Album , bought it on Christmas :-)

  • good

  • @CraigOH1981 Thanks Craig, much respect to you for that mate!

  • @CraigOH1981 Sorry Craig but i also disagree :(

The other 2 guys pretty much said what i was thinking, Strictly Rythm were smashing it in the 90's that is true but you cant slate them for moving with the times, surely you cant expect them to continue releasing the same kind of tracks they did way back then because times have changed and so does music, I think this album is truly amazing and that alone is testament to why they are still a great Label....Not hating on ya, just my opinion :)

  • @CraigOH1981 I to disagree with you! Personally I think his music is extraordinary and Strictly Rhythm is the right label to release it. Songs like Justice and Summer's Loss are great additions to today's music!

  • @CraigOH1981 I would have to disagree with this statement. This is just one example of good music they have released. Each to his own though I guess.

  • i'm sorry... you guys (strictly rhythm records) just don't put out good music anymore... music has changed... your best time for music was the mid to late 90s!
