@MegaGeek325 Dont speak for others; I can tell by your comment that you have no idea what you are talking about; walk one day in someone elses shoes, and see the truth. Anyone who has experienced this "governmental/pharmacy/immuniz
ations injury" will understand this video; until it happens to you just be quiet! -

I recently saw this video when a friend shared it on her fb page. It is an incredibly powerful video which has had me thinking for days now. I finally decided to chose a charity for autism to donate to, I have been trying to decide what charity to give to for over a month now (my job matches contributions 100%). I just wanted to let you know that you are being heard and that you are influencing others. Keep up the fight. Your daughter is very lucky to have you!!!

Our girl with Autism is now 16. She also came down with diabetes and puberty was especially hard. But she has made such progress over the years in terms of her vocabulary and behavior. GREAT video!!
I see one major problem with this...
AIDs and cancer kills people...
Autism makes people 'different'.
Being different isn't a problem that needs to be fixed... Maybe adapted to. But not fixed.
I think you should do a bit more research, really delve into the culture of Autism, see if there can be a better solution than 'fixing' it... Einstein was said to have a form of Autism. How different would the world be if he was 'fixed'?

@MegaGeek325 Thanks for taking the time to comment. Some people want to take the word "fix" as being literal. I do not use it in that manner which is why there are quotes around the word. Also, I am not comparing different ailments/disorders. I am comparing the disparity in funding. I do not view people on the spectrum as being broken.
There is an annotation in the video under the final card directing you to the description box where you can find a link to the meaning of the video.

I just wanted to say that you are an amazing father. My little brother, Jimmy, was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. He will be turning 12 on the 18th. I couldn't be blessed with a more wonderful brother. Keep doing what you are doing. It's very inspirational. Bianca is beautiful, by the way<3

@Meghan517 Thank you Meghan! Jimmy is a very lucky young man to have such a sweet and amazing sister. It is always a fear that parents have (autism or no) that their children might resent one another, but it gets amplified when you add a special needs child into the mix. Stories like your love for your brother ease that fear in me that Bianca's brother and sister may harbor resentment towards their brother. You are awesome. :-)
