Brother Joshua Evans is our guest on today's show, Brother Joshua was raised by his grandparents in Greenville, South Carolina in a very strict Methodist home.

In his teenage years, he became very involved in the church and was studying at a small Bible college in his hometown with the intention of eventually enrolling in Bob Jones University.

He was learning to read the Bible in Hebrew and Greek and was very interested in textual criticism of the Bible. It was during these years of intense Bible study that he read the Bible cover to cover a half a dozen times. In doing so, he realized there were many inconsistencies and contradictions.

He realized the Bible was not the inerrant Word of God as he had always been taught. He eventually left Christianity and searched for the truth about God elsewhere.

And it is a fact Jesus raised from the dead. He died, and three days later He rose from the dead. Then He appeared to His disciples, then He appeared before 500 people, and they all saw he was alive. And the Gospels even line up with what nonchristian historians recorded. Josephus is one of them. Jesus raising from the dead was not a hoax, if it was His disciples would not have allowed themselves to be killed for His name sake... And all of science hasnt been proven,its still a bunch of theories

Jesus healed the blind, before blind people were ever able to be healed, he cured people with leprosy, he made the lame walk, he turned water to wine. AND he rose Lazarus and himself from the dead. Also, I would say prophecy is a miracle. The Old Testament said that the people of Israel would be scattered all over the Earth, and it also said that one day that the nation of Israel would be a nation again. And they're back to their original language too, Hebrew. There's 8 miracles for you lol :)

@spursell93 It is not a proven fact that Jesus rose from the dead, as it has no evidence.

Religion is nothing but speculation and myths, and you cannot prove it, but I can prove science.

Name one miracle that cant be scientifically proven other than the creation of Earth, because we cant seem to agree on that

@killerdeathmetal18 No,if Im right,God is a holy God who cant stand sin,then anyone who hasn't accepted His forgiveness is going to hell.It's like this,darkness cant be where light is and vice versa.In the same way,a holy God cant stand sin...If there's no evidence,how do you explain miracles?How do you explain Jesus being raise from the dead?That IS a proven fact.Hundreds of people saw Jesus after He died and rose from the dead.Including nonchristian eyewitnesses.

@spursell93 Don't be afraid of me going to hell, because if you are right then we all end up in heaven anyway.

I find it interesting you say the big bang is only a theory, because its true it is only a theory, but I wonder if the feel the same about the theory of gravity?

And sorry, but it is not a proven fact that there is a god, as there is no evidence, only speculation.

@killerdeathmetal18 Sorry, one more lol.. You're believing in things that aren't proven facts, the big bang is a theory. It has never and will never be a proven fact. Whereas, it is a proven fact that there is a God, that Jesus Christ is God.

@killerdeathmetal18 If you knew science and believed it,you would know that the big bang theory is a horrible explanation of how the Earth was made,without something/one putting it into motion.According to science,matter can't be created.I believe science is true too,just not all of man's thoughts of it.And the thing is,I can't agree to disagree on things like this,because if I do,that means im saying im okay with you going to hell,and im not ok w that.

Jesus is god, and he will put his blessing over all thoses who do not believe.

@spursell93 The big bang is still a better explanation for the creation of Earth than an omnipotent being just happening to create everything.

And just because I believe in science please don't use the "Darwin said god is real so you must believe he is real" argument please, because although his theory of evolution is flawless I don't think him saying god is real is a very good argument.

Lets just agree to disagree :)

@killerdeathmetal18 And Darwin even said there had to be a Higher Being or God that at least started it all. There is a God. :)
