AMS Wins 2008 Castrol Syntec Top Shop Challenge

A few months back AMS Performance was among 7 tuners invited to participate in the Castrol Syntec Top Shop Challenge engine build competition. Naturally a Mitsubishi 4G63 engine was our weapon of choice and with the generous support of our sponsors we were able to put together a winning package good for 1035 HP on 100 octane fuel and win the competition!

WOW..i had no idea there was such thing as an engine dyno! that's amazing. how exactly does it 'read' hp numbers? where exactly is it connected for reading?

FINALLY!!!! A video of the winning motor running!!!!

Funny how AMS did the least trash talking (besides the v8 guy), and destroyed the competition by far, not even close.....

and AMS remained passive even after the massive victory.

SSC deserved to be scraped, they are the most pathetic group of biased magazine editors.

Scumbags who used Top Shop as an excuse to build their expensive N/A VQ they couldnt afford earlier in the year..

The N/A VQ was aimed at fulfilling their goals, not winning.
