hey haile! i have i ?. i don't have headgear but does it hurt? like how do you eat and what is it for, like y do u have it. what does it do to your teeth likehold em in place or what. how often do you have to wear headgear. i have been looking at braces videos for the past week cuz im getting mine off nct week thursday. by the way i luv ur hair its so pretty!

@JustinBiberQueen4526 Headgear only hurts when you first get it but it doesn't hurt after a while because you get used to it. But it basically hooks into the back of your braces and it pushes your teeth back if you have an overbite like i had. And thank you :)

@JustinBiberQueen4526 I only wore it to track practice, and i just got people asking what it was for, and i wore it for a whole day of school once because i got it stuck to my face, but i just got a couple of weird looks, not really any comments though

Ok, at most of the ppl saying that the little round things, that go on you back molars, they are really called BANDS. Not brackets. The brackets are the other appliances on most of your other teeth, (if you actually have braces you'd understand)...

im getting a headgear :( It makes me happy that you can look super pretty even with the headgear on. Im super scared that it will hurt my teeth or get stuck cause I only have to wear it during the night. Do you only wear it during the night?

@wakeuponasunnyday I only just got mine but I think most headgear you can wear both sleeping and during the day. but most kids wear it in the evening and to bed so they dont have to go out of the house wearing it. hope this helps

Hey. I just got headgear and I was told to wear it 14 hrs a day, I wouldn't think this a big deal but I'm supposed to do it it straight (not like doing 7 hrs in the morning and 7 hrs at night) 14 hrs straight is harder because of meals....so I was wondering if it'd be ok to be wearing it and take it off briefly to eat (and brush) then put it back on again. nice video btw :) you really make me feel confident about wearing headgear.
