I saw a few other videos that claim this couldn't have been the Moon. Solar Eclipse's are like placing a Quarter in front of another quarter. If you research that and get PAST eclipse's you will see that just barely a ring can been seen. This one the Moon is far smaller then normal.

I have also lately notice that Our Sun sets in the West. Drivers HERE have a hard time as it shines in their eyes. Lately Our Sun set's way far towards the North like the Globe is a TOP that is wobbling off center.

How would lunar and solar eclipses look on the moon?

The temperature of the moon's surface would probably be the same as usual, considering that the reason that the moon is visible at night is because it reflects the suns' light. The moon wouldn't be close enough to the sun for the heat to kill living things. I think.

I know this comment is a little old, but oh well.

I think that, while the moon may get closer to the relative position of the sun during a solar eclipse (say, compared to the relative position of the moon and sun in a lunar eclipse), I don't think it's close enough to have any major impact on the tempurature of the surface... But, I'm no expert...
