I made a short video to share some things I learned about flexible light strips. There isn't much information out there, so please provide any feedback with additional information. I hope this video helps.

The ebay seller was Topbright88. They were like $65 a 15ft roll or something. I bought a second roll and it actually came out to be a bit different color, which I was kind of disappointed about. He said he has two different colors, so i'd order them all at once if I were you, or specify the kind you got if you order again.

  • Were you doing only one run shorter then 16 ft? Why did you cut it?

As for the tape-Yes. As for the clips, if you're doing more work with the strips I can sell you a bag-I've got an order coming in in about 10 days. How many do you need?

  • @leonardodalongisland I did 5 runs. I don't need any, my setup is working fine. Thanks for your comments. Hopefully some others will find them helpful.

  • Brother, You spent more money, then you had to, did more work then you had to and even bought a driver too large for your needs. Who ever sold you that reel ripped you off-by not including wires on the end and not having the 3M tape on it. The ones I sell/use come with the tape and pre wired. You can also buy (very cheap) clips that snap on to the ends-no need to solider.

  • @leonardodalongisland They did have wires on the end, except where I cut. Links to clips? That'd be helpful. Do the waterproof ones have 3M tape? Only the non-waterproof ones did have tape when I was looking.

  • when soldering them, did you struggle? im currently struggling with them and wanted to see if you had any tips

  • @Geo1Lakers I struggled. Heat and the copper "soaks" the solder, so there's probably some trick to heating the backside of something to make the solder soak through or something. Also, using flux might be helpful. If you or anyone has any tips, please share.

  • This is a great video! If we sent you some of our Ultra Bright LED strip light, would you review it for us?

  • If you use 220V strips, just need one power plug to support 100 meters long strips. so you son't need much more power supply unit. and we have it in stock, if anyone has interest, pls contact me, tonyguo@live.cn.

  • can u put them in car

  • Where did you get the idea to do this? I'm moving into a new place soon, and it gives me WORLDS of ideas.
