Every one else is crappin on about Scythian modes of the Cb unharmonic and using #17 double-diminished fingernails. You seem to be saying stay loose, practice a lot and listen a lot. I like that coz I got a bad memory and I have not quite such a bad ear.
Lovely playing. I hear you as more traditionally melodic than Krantz, a little sweeter and easier on the ear, but you have some of his rhyhmic style. It's a really nice mix.
@BabyPuncher007 sorry taken so long to get back! for this sort of stuff its a lot easier than you think. start with a just free improv. so almost begin with without any harmony, or stick to one motif focusing only on rhythm. explore as many different scales and tonalities as possible then try to add each of these to your rhythm work. above all though just listen to as many guys as possible. Wes montgomery was the biggest turning point for me. he outlines everything perfectly!
