As a variable in his depiction, a "seller" of said flag would have had to buy the flag from the producer in order to retail it for profit. The retailer may have paid the difference the producer was able to pass on to the product, but just as he says in this video the elastic nature of the demand parlays into a producers inability to truly negotiate on price without losing demand.
