u should blanch and then shock the tomato in ice bath u wont burn yourself

...there is an easier way that you don't have to squesh them like that...you cut them in half and you use your finger and remove the seeds! and then put the seedless tomatos in a blender or (magicbullet) and vola..now you can just boil them...and time will be cut and its more cleaner!

I have many large bags of already cut roma tomato from a wedding that i do not want to go to waste. I already made a lot of salsa, and now want to try marinara but would the sauce be ok if they had the skins still on them? they are too small to try to get the skin off

Hi, I usually do remove the skins from roma tomatoes, however, you can make your sauce with the skins and remove the skins when you strain the tomatoes to remove seeds.
