The thing the 2005 P&P has going for it is that Jane actually looks almost prettier than Jane. They cast Jane kinda badly in this version. But otherwise this version is pretty amazing.

I'm a man and I love this version as well, but I don't get the virtually orgasmic reaction a lot of women have for it. I have the sneaking suspicion that it includes some sort of subliminal, gender-specific drug in the soundtrack, a sort of hidden girl-narcotic that would be safer if applied only in a proper medical setting.

if you type in pride and prejudice bbc theme in youtube, there's a few videos of people playing it on the piano. I'm not sure where to find the sheet music though, sorry.
