one thing i hate those test is because they never teach that you need common sense ! and people need time to adapt to the ambient , i have like 8 forklift licences for different machines and i love to teach new drivers ! always tell new drivers when you not caring nothing keep your forks close to the ground much as possible , and have fun
@kelbo031890 serious, it would be more easier lifted. but maybe the trainer dont allow them to do that. n that trainer is gay. he cant tell the trainee what to do. if the guy been trained wants to go reverse for his convineance, he should let him.
suprised the instructor didnt mention sticking your head out of the confines of the safety cage at 49s. second blokes observations was terrible and the forks should be left with the heel off the ground and the tips just touching.
These fork lifts are not designed for rough terrain only flat hard surface. These forklifts are counter balance and should not be used to carry materials at height while in motion due to the center of gravity. the use of rough terrain forklift would then be used
what are talking about tribebrian you have yo keep the forks low even in the real world they angles are nothing you could do that easy even when forks are down, youve not got a clue, you need to train more
Tip over with that ? Come on ! You would never have to move something that would be heavy enough to make you tip over in such a tight space. In that case move the other bundles around. 150 mm ? what do you do on uneven ground ? Ill tell you what : you Break the material !
The guy from Toyota who took us through the training really knew his stuff. You should never traverse with the forks more than 150mm high to reduce the risk over tip-over :-)
