*Warning* This is not realtime. This is pre-rendered. Just showing how it would look like @ constant 60 fps

This is what crysis would look like with everything at Very High if it were to run at 60 frames per second, which is difficult to achieve even to todays current hardware. Unfortunately, youtube is not capable of showing 60 fps, so I will soon provide a link to download the original video.

This video is pre-rendered using the screen capture CVARS, which captures every frame and puts them in a folder. Then you combine each frame by using Veedub64.

After that, your video will run at half speed due to the 30 fps limit of video output in Veedub64. You then have to double the speed by using Prism Video Converter.

I found it ridiculously long having to record this and some of the cutscenes in Crysis (1-2 hours) especially with a 8600gt, but that soon will change once I pick up my Asus 4870 1GB which is perfect for my 22" screen. It really does help having a Quad-core Q6600 with a 64-bit OS for the converting and recording part.

The cutscenes are awesome when seen in their true form, and are coming soon as I am figuring out how to add audio. I'm currently trying with Sony Vegas but I'm having trouble keeping the framerate. If there's any suggestions, I will most appreciate it.

  • @fcmiller09 My laptop ia not really upgradeable ecept ram. Its got a dece3 graphics card 8 gigs of ram. I7 and I rant remember the cpu or gpu

  • @fcmiller09 Its an m17x alienware latpotp/ It runs c rysis with around 38 fps. But metro Is lagging like crayzzzyy. Il download that patch you were talkin about.

  • @poopamultimatepoopy damn what is your rig like LOL... I get about 40fps on crysis with ultra graphics.

  • @poopamultimatepoopy Oh yeah Metro 2033 has a update that helps with gameplay. Im running two 550's and it still wouldnt play right. After the update it ran MUCH smoother!!!

  • @poopamultimatepoopy Yeah go with Intel and Nvidia or ATi and AMD...if you not spending much money then go with ATI/AMD. I like Intel and Nvidia

  • @fcmiller09 LOL yea me either

  • @fcmiller09 Dude. I run crysis easier then metro for some reason. Metro 2033 Will be smooth at a 60, then I enter a slightly larger room And I drop to 18fps. The game is unplayable for me. Im on an alienware m17x with an external monitor attached. But Im thinking of making an intense gameing rig. Any tips lol?

  • @poopamultimatepoopy yeah warhead was alot better. But the original crysis in this video is horrible. I got Metro 2033 to play smooth with all settings maxed. Crysis still give me a little problems here and their but it's not a big issue since the upgrades. I dont play much games online anymore, especialy on steam

  • @LapisChimera Yeah dude. Mw3 is one of the easiest games to run. I get 200 fps on it. And I get like 70 in crysis.

  • @fcmiller09 Crysis warhead is very well optomised though. The wrost optomised pc game ive seen so far is metro 2033. But you have to give the game credit for the physics, leaf foliage, resolution, shaders, and lighting. I also think the terrain and water in crysis warhead are really nice. I dont have any freinds on steam lmao. PLease add me. Poopampoopy
