It would be difficult to get any closer to this beautiful steam locomotive without being on the footplate, but the EAST LANCASHIRE RAILWAY'S Volunteer Liaison Officer managed to capture this remark...

I agree, but in its hey day it was unsucessful. It was very difficult to steam due to a variety of faults. However these where all rectified in preservation, making it now, one of the most efficient locomotives ever built

Superb video. Thanks so much for showing it. I love these wonderful old trains and greatly respect people like yourself who take the time and trouble to keep them in absolutely mint condition.
