Jessamine were my housemates.....so funny - i never thought anyone had ever heard of them - now there's a video!
I know Dawn and Rex have been doing work with Sunn off and on among other things.

A good friend of mine, Michael Faeth, was the drummer for Jessamine. We were in a band together in the late 80's.

Love the Jessamine. Did they ever produce any music videos of their own? Where did the puppetry footage come from?
E.M. Cioran is more than a little scary. The guy got swept up in Fascism after all. That should tell you something.
I like the video though. Strange is good.

Footage was taken from a U.S. Civil Defense industrial re: what to do in case of nuclear fallout. Cioran did ally himself with a then young, mainly ideological, burgeoning Fascism. However, later writings vehemently recant, regret such involvement and, as seen in this video, his position towards ideas of Progress and human Will are less than optimistic.
