Nu bliver Århus bedre sikret mod storbrande. I sidste uge fik brandvæsnet 2 nye brandbiler, som hver vejer 39 tons og koster 6 millioner kroner stykket. De er først og fremmest beregnet til en bedre indsats på havnen, hvor skrækscenariet er, at der kan udbryde storbrande på for eksempel oliehavnen.

  • Hvilken færdsels regl eller ligende har de brugt for at få lov til at læsse 39 Tons på en 4 akslet bil ?

  • I read about those. They are equiped with 8200 liters of Water, 5000 liters of Foam concentrate.

    The pump furthers up to 10.000 liters/min., the Foam concentrate pump up to 1500 liters/min.

    The extinguishing boom has a Piercing tool (1000 l/min.) and a fire monitor (4000 l/min.)

    Roof monitor: 6000 l/min., frontmonitor: 1300 l/min.

    Jep. It's for the harbour: Heavy oil industries and container terminals. They are some sort of crashtenders.
