Omega Planet Ocean 2500c problem?

Sec hand will struck at around 40sec mark. This PO less than 3 months old. Sent for servicing and got it back with answer from swatch group Spore "Theres nothing wrong with ur watch, pls go back and read the instruction manual again". Can someone share their experience with this watch? Or i've gotten a lemon?

Yup, watch came back running normally now for a month. Abeit fast, but it was still acceptable by me. Omega fully honour their warantty, thou they wouldnt let me know which part they changed as im not eligible to know as the part were bore by Swatch Group itself. I'm just wondering is it still a COSC cert, as part been changed and case opened for service. Duh....

I have had 3 omegas, two 300 pros and currently a PO, all work fine, wife has a lady's pro and apart from battery no probs, had a submariner Rolex for a while but compared to the omega felt boring and old so sold it and bought PO. Also know a guy who on his Rolex one of the numbers fell off and had to go back! Quality, I don't think so. If you look at the tech of omega they are out classing other manufacturers. One comment said buy tag or breitling well they use ETA movements the same as most

My first planet ocean did this after 6 weeks. I bought mine from jareds. The rep at the location closest to me (not an authorized dealer) didn't believe it, he convinced me it wasn't getting enough play.week later I went to the authorized dealer, they gave me a new watch and I am so relieved the movement works properly. Hopefully you can get this resolved. I imagine with tax you paid upwards of $3500, a lot of money for a watch to freeze at 40 sec.
