Ama Adhe was one of Tibet's longest-serving political prisoners. Her autobiography is titled, "Ama Adhe: The Voice That Remembers." Her full name is Adhe Tapontsang but she is popularly known as Ama Adhe. She lives in Dharamsala.

  • ...so please help us to achieve our dream of having His Holiness the Dalai Lama back to the Potala palace and tibetans have their country back, and let them be the master of their own affair. We,Tibetans should all rise against the Chinese. I for one still has this burning desire to demonstrate or even to die right here and now for Tibet, although it is difficult for me to move around at this age and with this poor condition resulted from the torture in Chinese prison. HELP US!!
