Hey man, no I bet they would sound pretty close. Thats a pretty close engine to the 3.8L so i'm sure they'd sound pretty close. I actaully just finished an X-pype on my mustang and its amazing how nice it sounds for a V6. Its all owed to that MAC exhaust too. I've been told by many so far that its the best sounding V6 stang they've heard, and its actually fooled a couple people into thinkin its a V8 now. I'll be posting the new x-pype drive by video soon!
Thanks man! Its got MAC air intake and Dual MAC catback exhaust. I'm also running a chip, and nitrous on the car. I was really impressed with the performance of the MAC exhaust. Deffintately louder than most i've heard. My next step in putting an X pipe in and hopping up the engine. I'll post another drive by after i accomplish this!
do you think the macs on your 3.8L would sound any different than mac axlebacks on a 4.0L?
