When I use the command apt-get update the installation ALWAYS fail. I have Reaver installed on a USB thumb drive. Does anyone know HOW I would import the files off the USB drive inside of BackTrack 5?

can you tell me will Reaver work on windows 7 32bit if not how about Ubuntu and also which is the best wifi card to use I don't think it work on a dongle will it only work on a pci card using a pc?

who the fuck would try this bullshit? even if you take all your time to crack their internet it will still probably be shit internet considering the fact that its wifi. just take 20 bucks a month (pretty cheap) like I do and get charter high speed internet. not that hard.

I don't exactly have a wireless card but I use a wireless adapter...
Something tells me that Reaver won't detect that...anyone else thinks this is true?

anyone know if reaver will retrieve a wep through wps if wep is used instead of wpa2? for some reason my wireless card isnt capturing ivs with aircrack. i know reaver works fine though haha

Hey LifeHacker, I typed "iwconfig" in the terminal and what I got was this
lo no wireless extentions
eth0 no wireless extentions
It didnt show up with the wlan0 or ANYTHING else.
PLEASE HELP

@TheMarioMan1 u only need to use the internet to download reaver if ur using a livecd because it doesnt come with reaver installed.
if u already have reaver saved on ur computer or a flash drive u wont need to use the internet.
