18th NATIONAL CHILDREN'S SCIENCE CONGRESS (NCSC) 2010, Chennai - Day 5

18th National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) 2010, Chennai. Every year NCSC is conducted by NCSTC , Dept. of S & T, govt. of India. This year NCSC2010 was hosted by Tamil Nadu Science Forum, a member organisation of NCSTC-Network along with the co-host : Tamil Nadu State Counsil for Science & Technology and Vels University, Chennai.
The programme was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Hon'ble Chief Miniister Dr. M Kaurnanidhi and was conducted during Dec 27-31, 2010,
Around 650 children scientists from all the states of India, presented their project reports in this congress.
Many eminent scientists like Prof Yash Pal, Nobel Laurent Venky Ramakrishnan, physicist and climber Bruce Normand, Chantrayaan director Mayilsamy Annadurai interacted with the children and encouraged them.
