This video shows Stellarium Console™ in action. Stellarium Console is nothing but a simple and intuitive console that can interface with the popular software Stellarium. Now, it's easy to use Stellarium during your presentations: no more blinding or annoying windows when you try to change time, position or configuration. You can control Stellarium in a professional manner.

  • Telescope control?

  • @bsgtrekfan88 This software is designed to be used as a planetarium control software, not for amateur astronomers. A new version (2.0) is released with a lot of improvements (flyby on all the solar system planets, you can launch video or audio files, change the size of the stars and the relative magnitude directly from the console, change the color of the constellation boundaries, and much more). This version is not downloadable from the site, but if you are interested to, please write us.

  • What is the name of the music?

  • @solsic Nah, I'll be fine. Don't want to encourage this sort of behaviour. Either way they're still charging for a few buttons on someone else's work.

  • @RangerParus No, it's free forever. You have to download the Standard and Basic Edition, and during the first launch choose the basic edition.

  • @solsic Wow, 30 day trial, that really hit's the spot.

    Ta but no ta.

  • @RangerParus Perhaps you missed, but there is a free version. You do not have to pay if you don't want! And you are not obliged to use it.

  • Must say, it's a bit cheeky having an interface for SOMEONE ELSE'S FREE SOFTWARE and charging $300 for it.

  • @bsgtrekfan88 Stellarium can already do that, though.
