@bsgtrekfan88 This software is designed to be used as a planetarium control software, not for amateur astronomers. A new version (2.0) is released with a lot of improvements (flyby on all the solar system planets, you can launch video or audio files, change the size of the stars and the relative magnitude directly from the console, change the color of the constellation boundaries, and much more). This version is not downloadable from the site, but if you are interested to, please write us.

@RangerParus No, it's free forever. You have to download the Standard and Basic Edition, and during the first launch choose the basic edition.
