this cop was nice and did nothing unusual during his stop. One problem though, he can't be proficient in every firearm he sees a person open carrying. For this reason he could accidentally cause the firearm to malfunction by damaging it. Mishandling of a firearm and damaging the fire control group by improper handling could cause the gun to malfunction in the fire control group.or to cause the safety on the firearm to break. For the reasons above the 12031(e) Check should be removed and no one but the civilian should be handling their own firearm unless they break a law that requires the removal of their firearm.

go to the following link to have Eric holder the one responsible for ATF corruption to be impeached. Sign the petition and it will happen everyone. We need someone in office who supports machine gun rights to law abiding citizens and someone who isn't corrupt.

  • This is the best cop I have ever seen, what is you problem with him? I understand our rights are important but when you go out of your way to be a dick, you make all open carry advocates look as bad as you. Clearly he knew the law, your problem is that he didn't know your particular hand gun make and model and how it operates. Shame on you.

  • @Okinawapajero read the description of the video this is about the e check in california

  • The cop is trying to open the weapon and is aiming it into traffic. He doesn't even know if it's not loaded at that point. What a jackass. And never trust a cop when they appear to be getting on your good side and cracking jokes with you. They're actually trying to use psychology to get you to trust them. Age old "good cop, bad cop" game.

  • @lizard944 correct

I think his Dad would dam proud of him,...Give me your name and address and stop hiding all the bad things youre doing over there!! :P Give it to me or youre surely guilty of something. I know, you'll say,..idk you, I'm not doin that. And, I dont blame ya. But, do we really know who these cops are, and what they do with the info the collect in the field?

  • This was a great example of both cop and citizen doing the right things.

  • that was a GREAT cop!!! wish they were all like that =)

  • @lizard944 .....The act of Open Carry was the right of which I spoke. I personally do not see myself "selling-out" my right to not self incremate by providing ID; but as you say after id-ing myself.....No further iinfo

  • HAHA!!!! his attitude changed after he got owned!!!!!

  • @scanpacker So you would've resisted the questions and exercised your rights, or you would've submitted to taking it up the poop chute? Which is it?

  • @lizard944 Absolutely right. During any confrontation with a cop, pleasant or not, remember that HE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. Your joking, happy cop can turn on you in an instant if things go in a direction he doesn't like, and you will be in cuffs, or worse.

  • 1 person exercising his/her God given rights is paramount to maintaining this "right" for everyone. If the right is not exercised it becomes uncommon. The exercising of this "right" which is, not a "privilage" has become uncommon to many citizens which believe the hype that it is a privilage. The Policeman did his job correctly (except touching a firearm that he wasn't familiar with) in seeking info. I would have probably told him my name, shown ID even tho it wasn't mandatory. thanks
