A look at how to build a successful tournament army - this is my recent Saim Hann mech list that won me best general at a Jan. 8 GW tourney. Too much to say for such a short vid but hopefully you'll get a sense of what one potential, effective Eldar army can look like. • Need to clarify please: an autarch w/ mask and power weapon gets init 10 on first assault, 1 on subsequent rounds in combat yes? Codex takes precedent over rulebook correct? So the mask will override the restriction on power weapon only for first turn of CC per each instance of CC whether initiated by me or opponent... right?

  • @TheRuggernator Hi there, you are right about being initiative 10 in the first round of assault but I have absolutely no idea where you are getting the init 1 from. Power weapons do not strike at init 1, they strike at your normal initiative. Maybe you are thinking of powerfists, which indeed strike at init 1 because of their special rules (they double your strength and count as a power weapon too).

  • what do spirit stones do? please explain them

  • @BeTheBe5t Just read the rulebook my friend :). Stones on vehicles have the same effect as Extra Armor, Stones on a Farseer allows you to use one more psychic power.

  • I did like the video. Good overview of the make up of a tournament list on a unit by unit basis.

  • you should do tournament reports

  • Considering my sources were all SM players and i dont have a rulebook yet (meep!) That would explain the disconnect here. So yeah much better to get mandis. Thanks much! :)

  • @freakehh Because in melee your opponent will sometimes cause enough wounds that you will be forced to allocate onto the Embolden warlock and if you have only one, when he dies, your Embolden is gone. I find Embolded crucial on the Seer Council so I want to make sure I have it as long as possible even after I start taking casualties!

  • @EldarCorsair how come you take 2 warlocks with embolden and not just one?

  • luck. dont get me wrong your army rules but it will help. why dont you give your grey knight terminater paladins a banner thanks for the reply im your biggest fan do you know way of saim hann if you do can you tell him to make a new grey knight battle report and can you do one to thanks please reply
