@NightmareJames: because the Random Number Generator in the game has been cracked, it is perfectly possible to get shiny pokemon with very good IVs legitly. Google for it.

Is the HGSS trainers in PBR also? Platinum came in Japan in 2008, while PBR in 2006.. Did they know how the characters would look then? Sooo interesting :P

Platinum trainers and HGSS trainers are not in PBR. This is just a special version used for the championships, only the Pokemon Company has it. Check it out, the screen says "Pokemon Championships '09"
